This freelance logo project was assigned to me in September of 2024 for a company called Valleyman Firms, a film production company based in Washington, D.C., that had recently been established. When tasked with creating their logo I was given a lot of creative freedom, so I drafted five initial concept designs that all gave off different aesthetics to better understand the vision for the final product. Once we set the direction, and further revised the selection, the founder started leaning towards a design that was extremely light and elegant. So, we decided to couple this elegance with a color design that felt almost like watercolor paint. In the end, I believe we successfully conveyed the company’s creative and professional spirit, and set a strong visual foundation for their brand moving forward.
